Running until July 3 at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, over 150 different exhibitors will be showing pieces this year. And if you're looking for an exceptional piece of jewellery, you've come to the right place. With a range of precious pieces dating back centuries, a number of jewellery designers and antique curators have brought their very best bling to Royal Hospital Chelsea. Over the course of the week-long festival, 19th Century heroes of the revivalist style including Robert Phillips and Carlo Giuliano will be on display at Bentley & Skinner's booth. In addition, more recent works by the likes of Boghassio, family business Grima Jewellery and Coco Chanel favourite Verdura Jewellery can also be seen. It's also a special year for fans of Suzanne Belperron's work, a designer loved by Elsa Schiaparelli and Wallis Simpson. 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of Belperron's graduation from art school Ecole des Beaux-Arts, kickstarting her illustrious career, and a curation of her early work will be displayed at the Verdura / Herz-Belperron booth. From centuries-old tiaras to vintage-inspired designs, here's a few highlights from Masterpiece London to watch out for - a few of which are on sale. Second Empire Coral and Gold Diadem Exhibitor: Bentley & Skinner Coral tiaras are rare and this piece is believed to date back to the Second Empire, which spanned Napoleon's rule between 1852-70 in France. As a prime example of the revivalist period, it draws inspiration from historical Spartan jewellery design. Tudor Rose Diamond Edwardian Tiara Exhibitor: Bentley & Skinner This antique tiara wouldn't look out of place at a state banquet. Intricately detailed with old-cut diamonds, the jewels are set into a floral motif featuring five Tudor roses. The base of the tiara appears to be wrapped in velvet, a similar technique used on Meghan Markle's wedding day tiara to help the tiara blend into the hair. Gold, Enamel and Pearl Fringe Necklace, Carlo Giuliano Exhibitor: Bentley & Skinner This striking fringe necklace is intricately detailed with enamel beads in red, white, blue and green. Each strand is topped off with three miniature seed pearls and the piece is believed to date back to 1874-1895. Designed by Robert Philips' contemporary Carlo Giuliano, the piece will be exhibited at the Bentley & Skinner booth. Gold and Sapphire Cross, Robert Phillips Exhibitor: Bentley & Skinner This golden piece is estimated to date back to between 1860-65 and is being displayed by Bentley & Skinner at Masterpiece London. Featuring a central cabochon-cut sapphire, if you look closely you'll see the piece is dotted with miniature sapphires and four pearls. On Bentley & Skinner's website, it's been valued at £125,000. Black Enamel Ravenna Cuff, Verdura Jewellery Exhibitor: Verdura/Herz-Belperron The Ravenna cuff was one of Verdura's first ever pieces and was designed by the atelier's founder for his close friend, Coco Chanel, in the 1930s. The black enamel version features a number of gemstones including amethysts, white topaz, tanzanite and rainbow moonstone. There's also an ivory enamel version. Double Wave Pendant Earclips, Belperron Exhibitor: Verdura/Herz-Belperron Pearl earrings have resurged as a popular jewellery trend, however these Belperron pieces raised the bar decades ago. Featuring Suzanne Belperron's signature wave motif, the earrings are made from 22 karat 'virgin' gold, 18 karat gold and freshwater pearls. Zambian Emerald and Saltwater Pearl Earrings, Boghossian Exhibitor: Boghossian Crafted using Zambian emeralds and saltwater pearls, these asymmetrical earrings are bang on trend. With both a 28.55ct and 9.97ct emerald as well as diamond studs of just over a carat each, they're a striking and unexpected choice. Gold and Rock Crystal Caged Cuff, Verdura Jewellery Exhibitor: Verdura/Herz-Belperron This hefty bangle by Verdura Jewellery is part of the brand's Caged collection, which was inspired by a 1940s ring designed by Fulco di Verdura for Dorothy Paley. The late designer, who was beloved by Coco Chanel, had his vision channelled into this striking piece which weighs over 100 carats, featuring 68 rock crystals in various cuts. 18k Yellow Gold Feather Cuff Earclips, Verdura Jewellery Exhibitor: Verdura/Herz-Belperron These 18 karat gold earclips prove you don't always need gemstones. Inspired by the atelier's 50s design, the piece retails for $9,500 on its US site. Madeira Citrine Set, Grima Jewellery Exhibitor: Grima Jewellery These deep orange jewels are from 1970 and were conceived by Andrew Grima, a British-Italian jeweller whose designs made him a titan of European jewellery design. The self-taught jeweller's talent for the unexpected is clear in this earring and ring pairing, which feature Madeira citrines set in yellow gold.
