'The Voice' battle rounds: Brandon Showell and Hannah Mrozak perform 'Cold Water' in 'dead even ...

During Night 2 of "The Voice" Season 13 battle rounds, Brandon Showell and Hannah Mrozak of Team Adam Levine performed Major Lazer Ft. Justin Bieber and MO's "Cold Water." Blake Shelton confessed that he'd "probably go with Hannah" based on her voice, Jennifer Hudson said their performance was "the perfect duet," while Miley Cyrus congratulated them both on a memorable battle. But what did their coach Levine think? Watch Brandon Showell and Hannah Mrozak battle it out in "The Voice" video above.

"Hannah, in you I heard something really special from the beginning, and that hasn't changed," Levine readily admitted as he began his critique. "Brandon is a little different. I liked Brandon a lot and now I've really grown to love Brandon, not just as a person but also as a talent and someone who really wants to be a singer. What makes this decision especially difficult is the fact that you both did exactly what you were supposed to do. This was a dead even match."

After an elongated pause, Levine finally declared, "The winner of this battle is Hannah." Since none of the other three coaches chose to steal Showell, that meant this was the end of his "Voice" journey.

Showell is 26 years old and currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia. Here is his official NBC bio: "After college Brandon landed a gig singing on a cruise ship for a '70s and '80s tribute show. He performed with them for a few months, but after getting engaged he decided it was time to use his education and teach English. Brandon is currently a seventh grade English teacher and his day-to-day duties include prepping for his five classes, grading papers and teaching his students, all of whom have no idea he is an aspiring musician on the weekends. He plans to marry his fiancée, Perla, soon after the blind auditions."

Mrozak is 18 years old and currently lives in Richfield, Wisconsin. Her official NBC bio states: "Hannah is a licensed esthetician working at a spa that specializes in body treatments and facials. While she loves her work, Hannah's real passion is music. Growing up, Hannah did a lot of talent shows, musical theater and formed a band when she was 13. Last year, her brother Mason, a victim of bullying, took his own life. Hannah found that music was vitally important in helping her cope with the loss. She decided to try out for The Voice since she and her brother always watched the show together and he wanted her to audition. She hopes to turn a chair in honor of him and to spread awareness about the impacts of bullying and teen suicide."
