Assassin's Creed III Liberation is an Action-Adventure PC video game. The is set in 18th century, between the period of 1765 to 1777. The game was the first part of Assassin's Creed Game Series which contain a female protagonist, named Aveline de Grandpré, a French-African Assassin, who lived in New Orleans in middle of the 18th century.

Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation was developed by Ubisoft Sofia, Ubisoft Milan, and Ubisoft Montreal. The game was also published by Ubisoft. The game was directed by Julian Gollop, produced by Martin Capel and written by Richard Farrese and Jill Murray. The game music was produced by Winnie Waldron and Winifred Phillips was the composer of the game.

Assassin's Creed Liberation was initially released on for PlayStation Vita in October 2012, later the game was also released for PlayStation 3 on 14 January 2014 in North America and on 15 January 2014 in Europe and Australasia. For Microsoft Windows (PC), the game was released on 15 January 2015 Worldwide.
